Book NowOur approach
This is where
care feels different.
Most care feels rushed: quick assessments, temporary relief, and symptom-focused treatment. At Etobicoke Osteopathy, we take a more thoughtful approach. Through osteopathic care and Registered Massage Therapy, treatment considers movement, tension, breathing, connective tissue, stress, and the nervous system — and how they influence the way you feel throughout your life.
It’s time for a change
By understanding how your body has adapted over time, treatment can support deeper, longer-lasting change — helping you move, recover, regulate, and function with greater ease throughout your life.
Your care is shaped
around you — not a
predetermined
treatment formula.
Osteopathy and Registered Massage Therapy offer different approaches to hands-on care, but share a common goal: understanding what your body needs to move, recover and function more comfortably. Sometimes that means looking beyond where discomfort is showing up. Sometimes it means working directly with muscular tension, mobility and recovery.
Registered Massage Therapy
More than a massage.
Care designed around your body.
Registered Massage Therapy at Etobicoke Osteopathy combines hands-on treatment with an understanding of how muscles, movement, workload, stress, and recovery affect the way your body feels and functions.
Whether you're managing persistent tension, recovering from activity, navigating pregnancy and postpartum, or simply trying to move and feel better, your treatment is shaped around what your body needs that day — and where you want it to go next.

Questions
What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a hands-on approach to care that looks at how your body functions as a whole.
It considers how joints, muscles, connective tissue, breathing, and internal systems work together, and how changes over time can lead to pain or dysfunction.
It is not about fixing your body. It is about understanding how it has been working to protect you.
What makes your approach different?
My approach focuses on patterns, not just symptoms.
I am not chasing quick fixes. I am looking at how your body is functioning as a system, and what is keeping it from changing.
I also place a strong emphasis on the relationship I build with my patients. Care is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in trust.
Why do you sometimes treat areas away from my pain?
Because your body works as a connected system. Where you feel pain is not always where the issue started.
Treatment follows the pattern, not just the symptom.
What happens during the first appointment?
Your first visit includes a conversation, full-body assessment, and treatment.
This is the beginning of understanding your body more fully.
What can osteopathy help with?
Osteopathy can support:
- Pain and injury
- Pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility
- Newborn and pediatric care
- Digestive, sinus, and stress-related concerns
- General feelings of being “off” in your body
How will I feel after treatment?
Some people feel immediate relief. Others feel a shift over the following days.
Your body continues to adapt after treatment.
Is treatment painful?
Treatment is gentle and adapted to your comfort.
The goal is to work with your body, not push through pain.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your body and what you are experiencing.
We will always have an open conversation about what makes sense for you.
Can I combine osteopathy with other care?
Yes. Osteopathy works well alongside other therapies.
The goal is to apply the right care at the right time, not to overload your system.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear something comfortable that you can move easily in.
All treatments are done fully clothed, so choose clothing you feel relaxed and at ease in.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed.
Is osteopathy covered by insurance?
Most extended health plans include osteopathy, but coverage varies.
You will receive a receipt to submit for reimbursement.
